Gina is the President of Tucker Consulting, founded in 2001. She represents a varied cadre of clients before the Alabama legislature and executive branch. Gina began her career on Capitol Hill as a staff assistant to U.S. Senator Richard Shelby. Upon leaving Washington, D.C., Gina served as Vice-President of Governmental Affairs for the Alabama Rural Electric Association of Cooperatives from 1995 until 2000 where she was a political advocate for the association both in Montgomery and in Washington, D.C.
A University of Alabama graduate, Gina specializes in developing and executing programs that yield desired results for clients in Alabama — whether educating legislators and other state and local officials of the client’s interests, promoting positive legislation or defeating negative legislation that will adversely impact the client. Tucker Consulting partners with corporations, communities and organizations to champion their needs at every level. Tucker Consulting provides creative solutions to clients’ problems and provides opportunities before local governments, state agencies, and the Statehouse.
Christina joins Tucker Consulting with over twenty years of experience in public relations, crisis management, and government relations including: legal, non-profit, state and local government expertise. She has extensive knowledge in the energy and alternative fuels sector as staff liaison to the Alabama Joint Legislative Energy Committee while also serving as Chief of Staff for Senate Deputy Pro Tem Wendell Mitchell. Christina also managed several water policy issues for the Joint Water Committee during that time. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama, and comes to us after working five years as Director of External Relations, Projects and Annual Meetings for the Alabama State Bar.
